Heather & Sam say: Tenji (点時) is Japanese and can be translated to “dotted time”. The basic idea is using classic digits and replacing each horizontal line segment by a dot. Sam says: This project ran under the working title “chameleon” just like my Canvas watch concept did. I have fun, creating adaptable concepts. It’s a contemporary feature because it’s fun to customise. Canvas was a relatively high tech version of the chameleon idea. This watch – Inch – is a haptical and simple version. One inch, that is the width of a strap in any flexible material which you can stick into the watch and therefore adapting it to your taste. Read the rest of this entry »

Laszlo says: I wanted to design a watch which attracts the eye with a continous animation and easy to read.
Pulse is an LCD watch with effects always on. The time is displayed for 5 seconds when you press the button. The reading is similar to traditional watches. In a dark environment you can turn on the backlight. Read the rest of this entry »

Peter & Sam say: The initial idea for this LED watch came from the so called Penrose Stairs. These imaginary stairs let you walk up eternally by stepping on the same steps again and again each cycle. From a certain perspective, real life models can look like the often seen images. From another perspective you can see, it wouldn’t work. Firdaus says: This analogue watch design is inspired by nature aspect of Gaia.
Time telling is completely straight forward analogue. Smallest hand indicates hour, the bigger hand indicates minute and the biggest hand indicates second.
