Product materials
Stainless Steel
The following designs are made using high quality stainless steel cases and are fitted with either stainless steel, PU (polyurethane) or leather straps:
Pimp Pimpin Aint Easy, Pimp Star Performer, Tokyoflash Tibida, S-Mode Oberon and Radio Active Active Reactor.
Stainless steel is a hard wearing and long lasting material. Sometimes a finish such as IP black or brushed silver is applied to the steel. These are high quality, scratch resistant coatings. Please note that these coatings are not scratch proof.
To ensure that your Tokyoflash watch has a long life you should avoid dropping your watch. This may result in damage to the coating, exposing the metal underneath.
Brass
Due to the design and specialised nature of Tokyoflash watches, many designs are made using brass. The high quality coatings used are sufficient to ensure long life. The following designs are made using brass:
Tokyo Time Evolution Barcode, Twelve 5-9, e35 JLr7, e35 Geomesh, Tokyoflash Shinshoku and Saishin Retsu.
Glass
Most Tokyoflash watches feature mineral crystal glass which is strong, durable and scratch resistant. The Twelve 5-9 B and C version watches use colored acrylic glass which adds to the vibrancy of the LED color.
Leather
Some of our watches have leather or suede straps. The remaining designs have PU (polyurethane), rubber or stainless steel straps. For more information please look at the product instruction manual on each product page.
Nickel Safety
Unfortunately, all of our products contain small amounts of nickel and are not suitable for people who have allergies to this metal.
