Astroboy or Tetsuwan Atom as he is known in Japan is one of the most popular anime characters and he was probably the very first to kick start the Japanese Anime craze in the 1960's

This watch is in association with Tezuka Productions, the creators of Astro Boy. Its the official merchandise.

One of the main features of this watch is the built in motion sensor. So you dont even need to press a button to change modes. A simple twist of your wrist will flick between time & date modes.
The display also has an active scrolling matrix. At intervals an Astro Boy quote will scroll past. There's a back light too, which is activated by pressing a concealed side button.

The strap is soft poly-urethene, adjustable & there's a clever release catch to lock & unlock the clasp. Each watch also comes with a individually numbered collectors guarantee card.

The watch is available in 2 versions. The Grey version illuminates the digits in yellow when the backlight is activated, while the White version has red LCD digits but the screen illuminates.
