It tells the time in Binary, the same basic language that computers talk to each other. For example 00001=1, 00010=2 etc. Of course you can switch the watch over to regular time with a push of a button, if you are short on time. Keep it in Binary Mode when you are just sporting the watch and people will be asking you, "how do you tell the time?".


The matrix Binary has all the basic functions all displayed in both Binary and regular display. Alarm, Chronograph, Date, 12 and 24 hour display, Electro-luminescent Backlight, and Timer.
