i Acetate watches are made from a type of bio-friendly 'plastic' called Acetate. It's not really plastic at all because it is made from polymers found in nature (wood, cotton, hemp). Acetate is a lightweight and diverse material that can be shaped, polished & colored with a high quality finish, similar to ceramic or lacquerware in appearance. Some high quality glasses frames are made from acetate. It's certainly a interesting & unique material to have a watch made from.
